Meteora

Its name means the outstanding rocks in the sky and is considered one of the most important Greek tourist cities. It is visited every year by about 1,000 tourists. The city contains many historic monasteries built on vertical rocks near the river and the mountains of Pindus, specifically on the northern edge of the Thistle. Twelve Deira, but there are six monasteries inhabited by the great Keter of Maiturun, the Monastery of St. Nicholas Anapausas, the Monastery of Roussano, the Monastery of Farlam, the Monastery of St. Stephen and the Monastery of the Holy Trinity.
